2019 Trade Deadline Discussion

If we could send Grayson and 2 1st rounders for Kuzma, I would do it.
That is a lot... I guess I need to watch Kuz more to figure out what the big deal is because I think of him as a decent rotation player. Three first is a lot for someone I don't really think of as a real difference maker. I would rather look at Saric (who is only a year older). I think the Jazz have a system that could really unlock him (like he was in Europe).

I love the idea of NO trusting Ainge to make a big offer, but that he hasn’t dangled Tatums name... gonna laugh when he offers Hayward and a second to start the actual negotiations this summer.

Get the firsts from NO with Ingram Kuzma and Ball and don’t deal with Danny... dude is a snake.

I wish he was a little better shooter but I think this is right. Kuzma has some extra hype that isn’t fully warranted for his inefficient production... Saric the shine has come off a bit but he’d be such a good fit.

How's Dario's D? What do we see him doing in our system? I see him being more like a Favors (not in skill comparison) where he gives us solid minutes, is reliable, occasionally comes up big, but sometimes is just out there.

He's definitely limited as a defender, but it isn't for a lack of effort. I see him being like Kyle Korver, and I don't think it will kill the Jazz. Saric is basically a younger, cheaper version of Mirotic in my mind. He was definitely a big part of what Philly was able to do last season, and I think there's elite stretch 4 potential there.

15/7/3 as a starter in his career. Can create a little. Like the power forward version of Joe Ingles maybe. Best as a super role player, but may be able to ramp it up a bit if he needs to. Defense is okay.

Also he has 2 great nicknames... The Homie and Super Dario... just fantastic.

Maybe we do a Conley deal with Exum and a 1st then send Favs to Minny with Grayson and take back Saric and Dieng (contract is awful, but he's a solid backup).

Maybe Crowder and a pick for Saric and Tolliver... if we are looking to open more cap space that'd do it.

Ricky and a 1st for Teague and Saric... come on it'd be kinda funny. Is Teague terrible now? Maybe use him more as a 3rd guard... I'm spit-balling here. I think Snyder would have worked with him... so he'd have some thoughts. If we got him I'd assume that we get an better version of him than he's shown this year.
