Pistons are burning all the potential assets they could've used to get Conley lol

They are inching away from the tax in a way that makes me kind of nervous. To do a Conley deal straight up they needed to make some wiggle room or try and make Memphis eat jackson's and Leuer's deal.

I'm seeing second hand mentions of Windhorst reporting Conley informed Memphis he would prefer not to come to Utah... Looking to substantiate that, but if true it's kind of a bummer.

Maker can play the wing. He is quicker than people give him credit for. If he figures it out, it'd be a great addition for the Pistons. Not sure what the Bucks are doing though. Now adds another expiring to their roster.

I love what Detroit is doing. They just dumped two expirings for players who have cheap contracts and long term potential. And they saved another $1+ under the luxury.

If they get Conley, they have a couple young role players under contract.

That KOC story feels like a Memphis leak. I bet DL is PISSED at how public these talks have been.

Genuinely wouldn't be surprised if DL walked from the deal at the point.

They are now 2.6M below the tax... I still think they are in on Conley... these moves make it more possible imo. They could easily make the playoffs. this is strange.

We are going to over pay. Rubio and Favors is over paying. I don't mind Conley but he is not the missing piece.

Looks like in the meantime we have missed out on a bunch of little trades that could have made us better.

I like Maker's game and thought he'd be a good fit for us. Svi not so much.
