You think the Jazz are willing to sacrifice opportunities to substantially improve the team so they can chase KD and Kawhi? I think it’s important to dream big, but that’s a problem when your dreams hurt your reality and I don’t think DL is stupid. Because that would be really stupid as their best angle to the next tier of free agents is being decisive about them.I fully understand the situation at hand. I think you misunderstood my post. I was stating that Dennis won't bring in someone that takes up the cap space we have this offseason and in addition, he's not going to give up what he perceives to be valuable pieces to this year's team while losing that cap space going forward.
I disagree that Dennis Lindsey would make an addition now. I think sights are set on a big time free agent with the floor being Khris Middleton or Tobias Harris. I don't think Dennis will bring on an Otto Porter or Mike Conley and risk losing the chance to sign someone better for the Jazz in the offseason.
