Swipe Kleber in the deal too... like holdout for a minute Knicks... call around to a couple teams... I guess they must love Smith Jr. seems like the type of player that other players overrate a bit.

Would have to be Ricky, unless Dante was flipped elsewhere...

So here's a question... is Barnes available now? Not sure he's the guy I'd want, but if he hits FA they may have an issue retaining him.

IMO he's not. THey probably need him. They just made their immediate present rotation better because they are getting better wings than Wesley Matthews. IMO they are trying to compete for playoffs. I wouldn't be shocked if KP gets cleared to play sometime this season too...
 
San Antonio was rumored to really like him... would have thought they could pony up something better.

My inside source confirmed this too. That source... David Locke post draft lol. He said the Jazz had Zingis #1 on their board and tried like hell to get him. I think he said Phil Jackson wanted Hayward AND Gobert which essentially translates to "GTFO we aren't trading him."
