Good balance between defense and offense there.

I just wish we could avoid giving up two firsts.

Mirotic isn’t staying here for a bench role. Dude is definitely looking to cash in and play like he’s paid.

Rumored? According to NO, Jrue is flat out off the table. The only way that changes imo is if they’re offered something unbelievable and we don’t have that. The Lakers are not trading Kuzma imo unless it’s in a package for a stud and like Jrue, OPJ is supposedly off the table though I think he could be had.

That’s about it for me. Get the only available high end pg and cross your fingers you can get one of these stretch 4’s in the offseason. Approaching it the other way around makes no sense to me unless the FO is absolutely sold Rubio is our pg and we’ll be able to retain him at a fair price, neither of which I believe or trust at this moment. And given his looming free agency, this moment is what matters.

The Wiz are ****ed. Wall has the worst contract in the league, maybe outside of Hayward. Given their complete ******** of a season, the knowledge that that contract is never getting moved, and the idea that Beal shouldn’t be traded as he’s their best player, it makes OPJ the odd man out. Lest they want to stand pat and have a couple more **** shows of seasons.

Ingram, ball, and kuzma are a good core to build around, plus having 2 picks and salary dump in rondo and Stephenson is just gravy
