the last trade similar to Conley was the Dragic deal... cost two firsts... for a 27-28 year old Dragic.

A first for Conley is fair... they need to get over it... if that is indeed the hangup.

Or tell them they are ready to deal but they need to meet you at Starbucks in NO to do the deal... then no show and say they are at the other starbucks... and continue for a few hours... have secret cameras film the frustration.

I'm guessing Toronto called Memphis about doing a Conley/Lowry swap and Memphis tried to add a bunch of stuff to it. Maybe Toronto was offering a 2nd rounder for the swap.

If Favs is in the deal I'd say high (unless we also got Green). If Favs isn't in the deal I say very low.

Depends on how much we give up for Conley. What assets are we going to have left?

I'm guessing Toronto called Memphis about doing a Conley/Lowry swap and Memphis tried to add a bunch of stuff to it. Maybe Toronto was offering a 2nd rounder for the swap.

Tony said Kyle is unhappy in Toronto... so this is likely what happened. If Memphis could get Gasol/JV flip and move Lowry for a first it still makes some sense... straight up though... nah.

There was a report on another site that Memphis made the proposal. My guess is they're trying like crazy to trade Gasol and haven't found any buyers given his salary.

So Memphis leaked a trade they tried to initiate to drive up their players value?

Seems like no one wants Conley that much besides Utah and Detroit.

Conley is good and better than Rubio but his salary is 10th in the entire league this season, 9th next season, and 8th the following (pending new contracts). He gets paid more than KD, Lillard, Embiid or AD. Also, he's 31 and the last 3 seasons before this one he played 56, 69, and 12 games. Add the fact that Memphis wants picks and expirings, and that's not as sweet of a deal as many think.
