I just hope we don't end up waiting on Memphis right up until the deadline and then they decide to trade Conley to Detroit or not trade him at all and then we have no time to get anything else done.

Think they also may wait to try and get Detroit to offer Kennard... word is he was not in the offer on the table.

We could also just do a deal out from under them using the assets and just say sorry... not like they have first right of refusal and that we are sitting on our hands. They should probably make a move sooner than later. I could see the Wiz looking at their cap sheet and going "****! we have $60M tied up in Ian Mahimi/Wall/Howard... we are in the tax and won't be able to field a full team" and moving OP for something more cost effective.

3 of their 5 starters are free agents... 2 will get big raises... Re-signing Satoransky and filling out the rest of the roster with minimums will put them in the tax again... now they looking at repeater tax. They may wait to pivot, but they should be open to moves now... going nowhere in the most expensive way possible.

On the LA/NO dealings, you can't add up quarters to make a dollar in the NBA. AD is a dollar. The Pels are right to ride this out. See if Boston offers Tatum or whoever wins the lottery puts Zion on the table.

If you don't get Zion or Tatum, you get even less quarters.
