Nearly 3 hours away from the NBA's trade deadline and ... the Lakers-Pelicans talks on Anthony Davis are dormant, league sources tell ESPN. No communication, nor an expectation that they'll even speak today. Pelicans seem content to run out the clock.

How far away is the deadline? 5 hours? Ricky is a good dude it just hasn't worked out on the court. That said, would DL bring him back if he has a huge finals series?

I wouldn't underestimate a strong closing to the year and some feel good playoffs stories, coupled with some advanced stats that justifies running it back.

Can we just send Lopo as an undercover to the Grizzlies's front office? He would even trade us the Grizzlies's mascot.

On a side note, this makes me wonder if Lopo plays NBA 2K and if he makes the AI explode with his 5-team trade ideas
