My team is better constructed.
Team 1 is starting rookie Vince Carter and three year veteran AI. third year AI isn’t 10 year Championship level AI. Vince was pretty good as a rookie, but a rookie will do rookie things and hasn’t been through the wars yet, he also has Kobe off the bench, same deal, he isn’t the star yet and not battle tested, and hasn’t become the Kobe we all knew and feared yet. This is the guy airballing threes in the playoffs Kobe.
All my guys, from 1-10 are all battle tested, and been through all of the wars of the 80’ and 90’s. I’ve drafted star players who would fit together perfectly. Everyone of my players have shown to be unselfish on the floor, including the most unselfish player of all time in John Stockton who holds the all time record in assists which is so gargantuan it will never come close to being broken. Simply put Stockton makes this team work. He is the ultimate conductor of an offense. I’ve also drafted the perfect team around him. I’ve got elite post play in Kareem and McHale slashers/Finishers in Mourning and Drexler. Great shooters in Richmond Ellis Kukoc and Chuck Person, and I’ve got defensive specialist in Rod Strickland who can come in and pester Iverson. There would be great team Chemistry on and off the court
As devastating a front line team 1 has, mine matches up very well. In the end My team is more versatile. I can go big and play devastating half court offense and still have at least two or three elite shooters. I can go small with four elite three point shooters with a devastating low post scorer in either Kareem, Zo or super small with McHale who was also a very good rim protector. My bigs who are elite low post scorers would have lots of room to operate. When the defense changes up to stop my low post offense that’s when the four other guys start getting wide open 3’s.
