When are we signing Divac? **** the player/coach. We’re pioneering the player/GM.

If Detroit were re-signing Wood, they'd make him priority #1, no?
They don’t have space for him now... they don’t have bird rights... they out.

One thing on Wood... a lot of “experts” like to be the gatekeepers of identifying/knowing who’s good. Because Wood’s hype came largely online, and not through “official” channels, it could be a turn off. Not for everyone, but certainly for the way our FO works. They don’t like to be suggested solutions from lay society. It has to be more sophisticated than that.

Many of you guys make fair remarks critisizing DL, I get it, it's a lot of good points. But somehow nobody mentions Quin or blame draft decisions on him. Do you think he doesnt have big influence on that? I have hard time believing that he goes to Dennis and says: "man, I really need small ball 5 and wings" and DL goes "Nah, here is Udoka for you and you still have Niang, you will figure it out".

I wonder if the background on Wood just isnt good. No one seems excited to pay a guy who had a great end to the season with all the physical tools.

You really reaching.

I have no idea what the Pistons are doing right now. Their draft night was terrific and everything since then has been the hottest garbage.

I think Plumlee is better than Wood, but it just seems like an odd addition to a team who should probably be tanking (especially if they had to give up more than the MLE to keep him)
