The Knicks and Hornets have talked Rozier for Randle. How about:

Knicks get Rozier, Biyombo, Ed Davis
Hornets get Randle, Conley
Jazz get Portis, Marvin Williams, Ntilikina

No picks are even needed. Everybody gets what they want. Hell, Charlotte is actually legit with a new big and solid PG. Knicks get a PG who fits. We get a young big and a young perimeter defender for Conley.

We better have a new backup 5 who provides good defense by the end of tomorrow.

I seriously think that will solve a LOT of our issues. We need to prevent these huge 15-2 type of runs teams go on (usually when Rudy sits). And having a better backup 5 will do that.

My dream would be to have Nerlens Noel and Glenn Robinson on the team by the end of tomorrow as the new backup 4/5.

But backup 5 MUST be improved.

unrealistic in that there isn't enough time for this to get done By now we're probably down to simple trades given the time constraints
 
This is pro sports. They get paid to fight through this stuff and win. An average person doesn't have it in them to do things that are asked of them. But then again, a normal person isn't like a great lawyer who obsessively has to win each argument. We have to build a team that works and fights.
 
We need a Chris Paul or Jimmy Butler type. We need someone who will demand we step up. Sometimes we need someone to kick up some dust.
