I think you are way way off here
People voting for Biden arent doing it because they feel sorry for him. They are voting for Biden because A. They think he is a great candidate (not very many are voting for him for this reason imo). B. They are democrats and always vote for the Democrat (probably most of Bidens votes come from this group) or C. They are sick of trump and want him gone (a large number of votes for Biden will be for this reason)

I have talked to a number of people voting for Biden in real life to their faces and on social media and I have literally never heard anyone say they are voting for Biden out of pity. In fact your post is the first time I have even heard the theory uttered. I think you are losing it.

Your small sample size of talking to people in real life has no more credibility than my theory. It's not unreasonable to think that undecided voters in swing states might be turned off by Trump being an ******* towards Biden causing them to either:
A. Not vote at all or vote 3rd party
B. Vote for Biden

I don't think your category A would have played much of a factor in this election (even if the candidate was considered "great" by the Democrats). I think how each party as a whole approaches topics such as the pandemic, social justice issues, and media censorship plays the greatest role. Once this is accounted for, the impact of having a great candidate is negligible.

I can agree with this post. Sure undecideds might vote for Biden because trump is a dick. That's why I'm voting for Biden. That's not the same as voting for Biden because I feel bad for Biden though like your theory had said.

Why would anyone who doesn't like Biden care if his feelings get hurt by trump. Nobody who doesn't like Biden would vote for him cause they feel sorry him. Voting for Biden because trump is acting like a dick to Biden is different than voting for Biden cause you feel sorry for him.

Btw my sample size I presented to you was much bigger than this.
It was also all social media, television, news etc. That's tens of thousands of people.
Never even heard of anyone voting for Biden cause they feel sorry for him. Never even heard the theory before.

Hell, I wouldn't even say I'm voting for sleepy joe. I'm basically voting against trump.
More American idol style. Instead of voting for the one I like I'm voting against the one that I think sucks the most

I don't think any of this actually matters in this election. So many votes have already been made and the ones that haven't all know who they are voting for.
I do think it matters that it is happening at all though and it should be stopped if possible just because it's the right thing to do for our future elections

For this election though? Everybody's mind is made up imo.

Ok, I can see how my words are confusing now. The first part "sympathize and feel sorry for him" is a condition that must be met in order for Trump acting like ******* toward's Biden to have an effect. But to make that clear, I should have switched the order of my statements. That is:

When Trump acts like an ******* towards Biden, people can sympathize and feel sorry for him.

Unlike in the case with Hilary, where a lot of people did not sympathize with her.
