HRC was the absolute worst candidate to choose. The Dems are absolutely brain dead when it comes to winning. Set aside qualifications, her negatives were high, she was status quo in a change year, and her arrogance led to abysmal strategic choices (just like in the Obama election).

So I’d argue that her moderate positions were mostly moot.

PS I held my nose and voted HRC over the racist birther dude.

To me thats a great look. I love a person who has the ability to have thier mind changed. Hate stubborn people who stick to their guns no matter what new info is shown to them and even when they know they are wrong.

Its wierd to me that this is a negative characteristic to a lot of people.

In fact there was something a while back that trump flip flopped on (or a better way to put it, changed his mind about). And the right thing to do was change his stance on it. I actually praised the son of a bitch if you can believe it.

She should just say that mexico will pay for all of our problems. Thats how you get votes. From idiots anyway. Seriously, the Democratic candidate should just be like, are you Americans sick of high insurance premiums? Well I have the answer and don't worry, it's not socialism or free healthcare. Nothing changes. The prices stay the same. I will just have Mexico pay the premiums for you!
Idiots would go ape **** for that. Who cares that Mexico would of course never agree to that.
I remember when Trump said that Mexico would pay for our 5 billion dollar wall. I laughed and thought no one would believe such a stupid statement. Joke ended up being on me though. Lots of idiots believed Trump. A guy who lies more than just about anyone. And people believed him about such an obvious lie.

Donald is going to have a lot more money than the Democratic candidate. Corporations, Wall Street, the Kochs love the guy. He’s gotten rid of regulations and has given them big time handouts. he’s going to have the full backing of Fox News. And will probably get a lot more ink than the democratic candidate on cnn and The NY Times. and he is KILLING it with republicans/non-college educated whites.

As much as I’d like to see him get wiped out in a blue tidal wave, I just don’t think it’s possible anymore.

Too many dumb and bitter voters in the south and Midwest who equate treating immigrants like humans, gun regulation, and universal health care as communist attacks on their freedumb.

Iran? Was it bombing Iran that you remember? Because I agree,?his backtracking absolutely was the right move. He got some criticism but it absolutely was the right move.

Why does how much money he has matter? To me that is actually a detriment. I would love to see someone who isn't filthy rich lead our country. Kinda sick of out of touch 1%ers making decisions that effect people that they no nothing about and have nothing in common with.

Money is free speech (according to scotus)

I don’t disagree with you. I’m with you on liking to see a non uber rich person win.

But money allows you to buy up ads, hire campaign staff, conduct research, etc. usually, the candidate with the most $, wins.

We could greatly rectify this through publicly financed campaigns. I think sanders once promoted that idea.
