Budgeting is about making choices. That is the guns or butter concept.

if we are going to say “can we really afford” healthcare then should we not be challenging “can we really afford” our ginormous military?

Maybe we should’ve cutting both instead of passing along a $20 trillion credit card to for our kids to pay.

I’m glad the kids are fighting back with “hey boomer”, although many of their ideas are terrible and only make the situation worse.

I want to drastically cut the scope and size of government and increase taxes to pay down the debt. Feel pretty guilty about our selfishness and what we are doing to the next generations.

I'm all for less spending. I have no disagreements with you. As I've said multiple times, we are 20+T in debt, we can't even budget what we have and now we want to spend 20-30 TRILLION more. Look at the homeless and health crises in CA. I'm all for stopping spending on pointless stuff and fixing what's already broken.

Any current candidates have a plan for that or are they just pandering?

Ya and I remember a couple days ago we all agreed that this healthcare plan has no chance of being approved if Warren got in office. So why is it still being talked about?

Didn't think I needed your approval but Im interested in it. I think it has run its course though. I like to be informed about what I'm voting for or possibly could be. This gave me the opportunity to read and learn some stuff that I probably wouldn't know. It also reaffirms my stance that's it's something I will vote against. I liked Warren a while ago but she's a fairy tale. Talking to the lefts version of "Mexico will pay for it" base. It obviously worked.

You wont get the chance to vote against her healthcare plan. Thats not how it works.
You can not vote for warren if you want but you will never be able to vote for or against her healthcare plan.
