What's new

2020 Presidential election

Just as curious as dems allowing, applauding, and encouraging rioters to burn down their respective cities knowing full well that there is no social distancing going on. Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Educate yourself before spouting off:

"Almost no one who contracted the novel coronavirus in China during the early days of the pandemic became infected in an outdoor setting, a new study finds — which is promising news for bikers and walkers. In a study of 1,245 cases that occurred across China from January 4 to February 11, only two cases were traced to contact with an infected person out of doors. Both cases arose from a single outbreak. (We’ve approached the researchers for comment on whether the setting for the outbreak was a sidewalk, a bike lane, or a hug between friends; we’ll update this story if we learn.)"

Comparing this to Trump's superspreader events is nonsense.

Just read that Trump is buying ads in Iowa and Georgia which shows how much he's going to have to play defense this year. That's a pretty large battleground map where the math is going to be incredibly tough to overcome. Not impossible, but tough especially when he's going to have to go all-in on Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

He’s in Texas too

Even though Biden’s lead is now about double what Clinton’s was at a similar point four months out from the election, it’s still way too early to get complacent, and while a landslide rejection of Trump would be great for the country, I still expect a relatively close election. Biden is well past his prime and his inevitable verbal dithering and feeble bearing is always a concern. (Of course, Trump has never had a prime, as an adult he has always been the perpetual man-child, an emotional and intellectual adolescent.)

The smell of Desperation.

It says right in the article that “The nonprofit operated primarily through indirect money pledges from 57 partnerships, which included drug and health insurance companies.“

and “paying execs millions” is designed to mislead, as each exec made far less, it was millions in total salary.

so the money never flowed into the charity’s books, driving the high expense ratio.

If trumpsters would stick to facts they’d have some credibility. Biden’s charity failed, especially when Joe and Jill stepped away it lost its fundraising clout. And he should be held accountable for that. And it looks they overpaid their executives.

now roll tape for trumps foundation with its fraud, graft, corruption, ineffectiveness, legal problems and forced shutdown.

so I think this is an awesome issue for trump minions to keep bringing up.

agree completely. Some differences are the ebbs and flows of 2916 where the candidates were statistically tied in late July, early august, late September and early October. Too early to tell, but for this to happen in 2020, trump needs to overcome the huge number of voters who strongly disapprove of him. His consistent unpopularity is unprecedented.

But if Dems can screw it up they will. Keep shouting “defund the police” and other poor slogans and you breathe life into trumps propaganda machine.

I’m starting to feel sorry for the Donald. What could have damaged his soul? Is he desperately trying to please his long gone parents? How is he going to deal with his failed presidency? Is he going to need his daughter and son in laws financial support to provide legal defense for all the pending criminal and civil litigation that is logjammed because he is POTUS?

You think LBJ was a tragedy? Trump says “hold my beer”

Since learning that Putin put a bounty on murdering American soldiers, trump has saluted every West Point graduate and argued to have Russia added to the G7. And does not have the balls to say one word to Putin.

who can vote for this guy and claim to be a patriot?

Wonder where he learned that trick from. :)

It's actually the best strategic move for him. He has no reason to have daily press conferences because all the focus and responsibility is on Trump. Biden's best bet is to hang around in the shadows and let Trump continually hang himself.

The debates are pointless, but I believe most just watch them for the theater.

Both Benjamin Harrison(1889-1893), and William McKinley(1897-1901) ran “front porch” campaigns for president, simply entertaining delegations from their porch. Both won. So far, Biden’s “just let Trump open his mouth” has been very effective.
