Why won’t leftists adhere to law and order? I’m so tired of them thinking they the rules don’t apply to them.

Ya nailed me! In fact, I am aware that not all people who support Trump do so in a cult fashion, but that he has fashioned a personality cult there can be no doubt. And I have long been of the opinion that the true victims of Trump Derangement Syndrome are the members of the Trump personality cult. I cannot be blamed for recognizing the truth here. It is what it is. No point in waiting for history to judge, if one can see clearly in the present. History provides examples when citizens remained silent, with sad consequences. One must speak up, and be a responsible citizen. Never sleepwalk through that portion of history that is your’s to live and witness. And you’re entitled to think and believe anything you want, including concluding that I am a wacko. Water off a duck’s back.
 
Both the DNC and RNC seem like a waste of money to me. Only diehard political fans watch these and the ones that are are already voting for their candidate.

I think people will make voting decisions based on what they see everyday with their own eyes vs. what some suit/dress tells you.

Hitorically, this is incorrect. There have been massive swings in polling based on conventions. Gore got a 16 point bounce. Clinton got a 30 point bounce. If no one is watching, this is impossible.

TV viewership alone was over 20 million for the DNC. And most people are watching it online, so the number is probably much higher. And there are all the clips to FB, Youtube, Twitter, etc.

The post convention swing that candidates get has been diminishing in the modern era. My suspicion is that the party conventions will take a back seat to the virus, economy, the last 4 years of corruption, and whatever fire Trump sets next in the next few weeks.

Really, I wonder how many Truly undecided votes are still up for grabs?

I also wonder if anyone will be persuaded by the conventions of both parties while the pandemic still rages? My guess is if they were already leaning towards one of the candidates, they probably were voting for that candidate anyway. How many voters were anti trump and then after last night saying, “gee I know he was impeached, and kids in cages was bad, and yeah the pandemic response has been a joke, but Melania’s speech! Wow! Four more years!”
 
I imagine 99% of voters are decided, even if they say they aren't. Looking at you guy I know who has only voted republican in 4 decades but identifies as an 'independent' and will swear he's undecided up until the day of the election.
