If Obamacare was so great, why did Obama wait last minute(last day) to sign up for it? Well Obama technically didn't even sign himself up for his own plan, his secretary did it for him.

Why was I forced to pay for it?

Obama was covered by the Federal employee healthcare. Where is your plan? The ACA has many good things in it but it did not go far enough. The ACA was based on Romneycare out of MA and the GOPers were all for the mandate back in the 1990s they only changed when Obama was involved. There are several things that need to happen. 1) a government option like Medicare which has all the protections of the ACA and some additional ones. You can still have private insurance with some cost cutting measures involved. Right now the health insurance has no competition and has become out of control with their pricing. Patients have no options given to them about where to have test and how much these test cost. It is a shell game until you get your bill. As a nation we could save a lot of money simply by changing our approach to medical care. It should be more preventive than reactionary. Pharma companies that get federal funding have to have price controls installed. Two things that have become obvious during the coronavirus, is how people who are being laid off no longer have health insurance. The other is the rise in out of pocket cost and deductibles.

You are forced to do a lot of things, it is part of being a grow up. You have to obey traffic laws, wear a seat belt, you have to have car insurance, you pay to fish or hunt? You did not have to sign up for Obamacare unless you had no employee insurance.

So since you can manage your money what is the solution since you hate Obama care so much. I haven't seen any real proposals from you or the republicans?

I don't know who Trump won over... I just don't think Biden "killed it". Not that he had much of a chance to. I think the smiling and head nodding showing "patience" was partly not having a great comeback and allowing Trump to steamroll him.

I wanted to come away with a greater sense of confidence in Joe... I don't have that... I'm still voting for "not trump". Look, Trump may not have given him an opportunity to instill confidence with how he mucked things up.

Reduce major drug prices like insulin
Bring drug manufacturing to the us for generic drugs(huge I think)
Openly force drug companies to disclose pricing

-Things Trump is doing right now but it's nowhere near enough. I actually love my plan o have right now so it's tough for me to really complain. I do think it needs an overhaul but ACA is not it and completely against replacing garbage with garbage just to do it.

The disconnect between devout Christians and being ardent Trump supporters is baffling. First comment on KSL.com about the debate.
