If you want to have any real basis of analysis it is absolutely necessary. Players change over time, sometimes dramatically.

JoelHodge choosing one of Bosh’s later years when he was a more effective 3pt shooter, and showing he can fin into a big three system and sacrifice his stardom for the betterment of his team helped me to think Hodge’s team was better even though I came to this conclusion after I voted for Numb. Lol. If I could CJange my vote, I would, sorry JoelHodge.

I am aware there are shots that aren't 3s, but they are worth 50% more than (long) 2s that are worth less (and are the worst shot in basketball). So if the shooting you're talking about are long 2s, I'm not gonna lose sleep over them.

I felt my backcourt already had enough firepower. With Jerry coming off the bench he is probably the best scoring 6 in this draft.

@NUMBERICA thats fair I meant to choose 13-14 where he shot 34% but I messed that up.
Nailing the trade-offs is kinda tough.
The specific seasons thing is important because we have to have ground to make fact-based arguments and I appreciate that you don’t feel attacked. Much respect to you and your team.
Joel really traded Stockton and didn’t even start the dude he got back in the deal at PF. Such a terrible deal.
