The argument for Sochan, I think, is that he projects to be functionally similar to Al Horford. He can play at the 4 or the 5, he's a switchable defender, he can move the ball, and he can knock down enough of his shots to spread the floor. Then he brings toughness and some intangibles in general. So he could be an elite complementary player. I just can't see a scenario where he's in the top 5 - 7 guys. I think he's a candidate to get picked in the 10-16 range. He's not such an overwhelming talent that team needs won't factor into the decision to draft him.
