I guess my moral compass doesn't allow me to assume everyone must be treated with kid gloves. I could not care less if you misspoke (even though I don't think you're revised point has much meaning anyways). But I find it comical that you want to blame others for misunderstanding something you acknowledge was poor.
My nephew says nonsensical things all the time and I don't take it at face value because he's 5, but in an effort to improve my moral compass I will remember to treat you the same way.
