Team L writeup

My opponent has put together a fascinating “Twin Tower” lineup of David Robinson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. I personally believe Moses Malone and Anthony Davis are sufficient to match them. Malone is the all time greatest offensive rebounder in the NBA and smoked Abdul-Jabbar in the 83 finals; Davis has both inside and outside shooting to plague Kareem/Robinson. Brook Lopez can draw Mutombo away from the net with his outside shooting. An exciting matchup.




Grant Hill is nice, but in such a competition Kobe Bryant will utterly destroy him. Kobe has a fanatical will to win. Paul George is an excellent player but Mitch Richmond should neutralize him. Speed kills, and my point guards, Derrick Rose and De’Aaron Fox are among the fastest of all time. I win in 5.

I like team d's players more individually but I'm concerned about the spacing with the starting lineup and bench. I would feel better about that team starting Tim Hardaway who I think was also a better player than Parker.

Parker gets a particularly generous bump from playing with greatness. Pretty sure he'd have a forgettable career if he didn't play on a perennial contender.

Team D would be awesome if they could swap some of that C skill for a top tier guard. Kareem (career GOAT), peak Grant Hill, & awesome guard might win it all.
 
Good match @David Hume you’ve got a fun team. I’m not surprised that it came down to the wire.

Moses “Chairman of the Boards” Malone is one of my favorite Legendary Era players. One of the biggest mistakes all time that the Jazz made was giving up his rights.
