2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I'm having a hard time finding any information on who Kobe Bufkin has worked out for. It's interesting that his camp is being selective. I'm wondering if he worked out with the Jazz the same day Gradey Dick did and we didn't hear about it. The only reason we know about Gradey is his posting on IG. Tony Jones made is sound as though someone else came in and worked out with Gradey. Then lo-and-behold David Locke goes public about his love for Bufkin a day or two later.

I think Jarace is the most likely to fall to us at 9. It doesn’t sound like ORL is all that interested in him. Whoever they don’t take at 6 out of Ausar/Hendricks will go 7 to IND.

I would be thrilled if Indiana took Hendricks at 7, but they could easily take Jarace there.

Can we just state that more than one person is allowed to really like a player (above consensus)?

Cy has an exceptional track record with these things generally speaking, despite his obvious troll work.

I think he's good, don't misconstrue, but I cant recall the exceptional results more so than someone like Ferg.

Not sure about that but everyone has some wins... I mean weren't you like all over Franz Wagner? Lots of folks here have some wins. Cy likes to do the hot take, I'm different, thing... which is fine. It results in him being loud wrong sometimes. We also tend to remember only the hits and forget the misses. He had love for some guys that have completely faded into oblivion.

I can see why people would have some doubts about Keyonte George. If he doesn't transition to a PG role, which he may not, and he doesn't become particularly efficient with better shot selection, then he becomes something like a Dinwiddie-type scoring guard. The key with him is projecting his efficiency in an NBA setting.

I had Franz 5th, which was higher than anyone iirc.

I was probably the loudest Jimmy Butler stan in the 2011 draft, too.

Also was in on Paolo being the clear #1 while people were getting too worried about him being comped to Julius Randle.
