2023 NBA Draft Megathread

The thing that makes Nelson interesting vs other guys in his similar size/athletic profile is that he some natural feel as a playmaker/scorer that most don't.

Yeah he has a lot more potential than “stretch 5”.

His handle and facilitation/vision is borderline elite for his size.

33% prior to the season though... sixers pick is aggressive... but if we made a promise and moved back to the second round or acquired a second rounder it would definitely be worth it. He's the type that becomes a mid first rounder by playing in Portsmouth or at the combine.
I would feel pretty comfortable taking him with the sixers pick. He kind of reminds me of Kyle Kuzma.

there are a few high upside fliers we could take with that Sixers pick... its another reason imo to not swing on a guy like GG with our pick or the Minny pick.

The majority of his shots are contested mid-range jumpers and 3s, with over 60% being unassisted. With more normal shot selection and better teammates, his shooting shouldn't be an issue.
Because he wants those kinds of shots....

South Carolina is a bad team, no doubt. Not a ton of talent, but a big part of their issue is GG himself. They'd be a better team without him.
