I think unless Sidy has amazing measurements or does awesome at the Combine or something that we will have a chance to get one of these guys with the Philly pick. At very least I think we can package the Philly pick with something to pop up 5-6 spots and nab one of them. I still think NBA scouts and front offices are generally slow to adapt and really risk averse. So the G League guys likely slip a little further than they should. Happy to get either with that pick or a combo of the pick and some other asset.

Oh ok I swear I saw the ringer recent mock that had him at #14 before..
KOC does his draft board and then they do a mock. The mock still has him #14... Not sure if that's how KOC thinks the teams would draft or how he would draft considering team needs.

Not to beat the Duncan Robinson dead horse... but say you took the Philly pick and traded for Robinson, #20 (where the heat are right now) and got another future first... Could also do something smaller of course. They are a partner in that range we could help... whether its Lowry or Duncan.

check out penn state's seth lundy as a poor man's desmond bane comp. their shooting/scoring stats are nearly identical, rebound numbers identical, height/wt identical, both 4 year players. bane was a better playmaker for others which probably speaks to a superior overall skillset and bball iq. but lundy is twice as good at getting to the line, so from a ballhandling and scoring standpoint, that could bode well for him. due to the FTA disparity, Lundy is actually a bit more efficient overall. anyway, not saying lundy can be bane because bane's trajectory is rare, but he might not be a bad pick in the second round.

I’ve been super uninterested in second round guys this year. I don’t think we pick up a second rounder with a potential roster crunch between adding three firsts, the guys we have returning, and potentially adding a couple other vets.

I'm sure everyone's like "when is Bodhi going to update his big board?!?!"

I'm personally holding out really making calls on anything from now until a week or so before draft night. To me its like 2 seasons to this: In regular season and then tourney-workouts. SO much will change between now and June.

I still have a bad taste in my mouth for how awful Leonard Miller was in the two Wenby games, but his numbers areimpressive. I haven't kept up with him this year, is his shot still fugly? He's good from the line at least.

Amari Bailey is the only deep sleeper pick I like right now. Super athlete, good defender, not totally devoid of skill. I don't know why he's 30 spots lower than JHS.
