2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Anthony Black reminds me of a slightly smaller Scottie Barnes. I don’t see him as a lead guard but more of a wing who can play defense and has the ability to score. I also don’t know what Black’s wingspan is going to measure at but I would guess 7’0-7’1.

He also reminds me of Jeremy Sochan a bit. I’m surprised Cy doesn’t like him more.

I think he’s going top-7 so if he fell to Utah I highly doubt we’d pass on him.
But if the draft shakes out as it's default order, number 7 is the Pacers.

Certainly the Pacers could view him as BPA and draft as such, but they have the most reason of anyone to not draft a ball in hand playmaker.

I like Black just fine, I just think he's a weird fit on a lot of teams and he makes more sense than anyone else if you are projecting who could fall because if gets to the teams who are factoring team fit more, he could get passed up on.

1. Wemby
2. Scoot
3. Miller
4. Amen
5. Ausaur
6. Hendricks
7.Whitmore
8. Black
9. Walker
10. Dick

Not in a specific order, but that seems to be the general consensus top 10. That can easily change if someone decides they want a "safer" PG in Wallace, if someone wants the elite shooting of Hawkins, if someone buys the pre-season ranking of George, or someone really has a love affair with the potential of a GG Jackson.
I just include Wallace and call that the top-11. Consensus is getting pretty strong that that’s who the 11 best prospects are in some order.

So you want to play him at the 3?
