2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Jazz should be able to bring Ausar Thompson in for a workout. He's showing up in the 8 - 10 range in mocks these days. Same with Jarace Walker.

This is good news. I like Black a lot and would be completely fine with taking him at 9....but there are 8 guys I like more, and if Black is taken in the top 8 then one of those other guys will slide to us.
I think I’ve firmly moved Black into my 9th spot. Still hoping something fluky happens and a guy who has no business falling is there at that pick. If not, I’d be fine taking Black and then making a swing for the fences move at #16.

I've had Black at 9th for a long time as well, but I really think there's a legit chance he's taken in the top 8.

I think its Black and Cason at the 9th spot for me... a tie of sorts. I think worst case scenario if we stay at 9 is our choice of Black/Cason/Dick.... I think Walker/Ausar/Tay Henny could slide and we nab one of them. I don't think Orlando/Indiana take a pg... Washington could be the spot for one of the pgs to land but I don't see them going top 5.

I think there are too many spots where Whitmore/Hendricks/Walker could work and they will more likely than not be gone.

And if we stay at #9 I'm fine taking one of the wings that falls or Black/Wallace if none fall. Not paying to move up unless price is low. At 16 praying we can nab Leonard Miller, Jordan Hawkins, or Bufkin.

Hopefully tomorrow at this time we will have a top 4 pick and won't have to worry about who may or may not slip to 9th.
