one way to look at that is the jazz have a 20% chance of getting top 4. 15% of getting top three - which is really what we should be praying for.God damn it, we getting the 10th pick
Utah "prayed for water" and look what happened. Imagine if they prayed for better draft position. LOLone way to look at that is the jazz have a 20% chance of getting top 4. 15% of getting top three - which is really what we should be praying for.
All I can say to that is whatever math you are using there reminds me of probability calculations, which were impossible for me to understand in high school. But I’ll go with it, gives me more hope!one way to look at that is the jazz have a 20% chance of getting top 4. 15% of getting top three - which is really what we should be praying for.
Yeah, look what happened: the legislature used that precipitation to kill the vast majority of legislation that would've actually helped the Great Salt Lake.Utah "prayed for water" and look what happened. Imagine if they prayed for better draft position. LOL
If they announce 9-14 and the Jazz are not mentioned yet, then I will feel no stress at all. Only joy knowing we are top 4 and should get someone great. The absolute torture of watching 14-10, hoping it all falls in order. The hands and knees praying that the Jazz don't pop up at #9.
After that is when it gets really stressful...
I would think about promising Jordan Walsh at 29 to convince him to declare. I think he might be the best defender in the draft.
top three or bust in this draft. heck i even hesitate to include scoot. imo, it was decided a year ago that Scoot was all that, but i'm not convinced his play on the court or his size warrant this idea that he's a can't miss guy. short guys who can't shoot have a VERY hard time becoming impact superstars in the league. If they announce 9-14 and the Jazz are not mentioned yet, then I will feel no stress at all. I'd wait until the 5-on-5's to brag about this.Bump
My feelings tooGod damn it, we getting the 10th pick
He may not be the best prospect at #28 but he's one I'd draft for sure. At a certain point in the draft you worry less about what a guy can't do and think more about what they do at an NBA level. He will be a really good defender. His offense is really bad... like really bad. You might be able to tell him to be PJ Tucker and just chill in the corner... and when the ball swings to you shoot it... and you might be able to get him on the court.Bump
He's like Vanderbilt, but a wing and a legitimately great defender. He's has Vando's hustle and motor, but can lock people up consistently. He does need to be able to knock that corner three down though, and it remains to be seen whether he can do that. combination of elite length and athleticism means the defense should absolutely translate. He may not be the best prospect at #28 but he's one I'd draft for sure. I watched him enough to believe in the defense. He gets after it there. The offense is real bad doe. He's like Vanderbilt, but a wing and a legitimately great defender. noWith the athletic testing numbers coming in stronger than anticipated, is Jaime Jaquez potentially the next Jimmy Butler?
Ehh. Better draft position is always better. Can always trade back from up there.top three or bust in this draft. heck i even hesitate to include scoot. imo, it was decided a year ago that Scoot was all that, but i'm not convinced his play on the court or his size warrant this idea that he's a can't miss guy. short guys who can't shoot have a VERY hard time becoming impact superstars in the league.
absolutely - nobody is turning down the higher slot.Ehh. Better draft position is always better. Can always trade back from up there.
