2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I don't think I would do that deal...I think it's too much to give up.

Agreed. Im close to liking it but its a little bit too rich for me. Especially if cam and jarace are both gone at 6

Jesus ****ing christ I turn on the Wemby game live and he's crossing up a 6'5 defender, passing out, reposting and shooting a turn around jumper for an And-1
Thank god it took us till the end of the year to start actively tanking, otherwise we might be stuck drafting Wemby. Wouldn’t that just be terrible.

Yeesh, the change of pace dribble move all with the off-hand for the off-hand finish.

I was pretty high on him till I read all the negative posts about him. I may have to revisit him. I’m also starting to soften on Black if he’s an elite passer and playmaker then he needs to at least be considered. Watching Joker last night opened my eyes to this. That offense run through Joker is so smooth and works on all levels.

I would at least replace the 2025 Timberwolves pick with the 2025 Cavs pick since it likely won’t be quite as good.
If I were Orlando I’d only do it for the wolves pick.

If anything we are hosing Orlando and that deal. We are getting two very good picks that are considerable upgrades to our picks in terms of what type of talents we can get. If Danny were to pull something like that off the rest of the front offices would be up in arms just like after we raped the wolves all over town. If you are the jazz you say yes before they have a chance to change their minds.

Jett Howard isnt a blackhole. He's a pretty good playmaker. Howard had 11.4 attempts per game with 2 APG. Dick had 10.9 shots w/ 1.7 APG.
right Jett is being slept on as a late lottery pick by most. His turnstyle D does not bode well for moving up, but he could def be an option at 16

does everyone agree this is going to be a historically great draft. some drafts suck. most drafts have 1 to 3 great players and then blah. i think this draft is going to produce upto 10 great players and a whole bunch of role players. i would cash in some chips and move up from both 9 and 16. ideally moving up to 5 for cam whitmore and 10 for bilal. i would stay put at 28 as i think someone very good could fall.

I'm still not a huge fan of taking Dick at 9, but I have to admit this roster building strategy does kind of intrigue me.
I'll tell you who would be a huge fan of taking Dick at 9...

Well... Nevermind...

I am with you... no one should be into taking Dick that early.
