2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Whoever is drafted at #16 would have been our second option at #9.
Damn... I should have gone further because the guy they get at 16 will at least get the "the Jazz were considering player x at #9 and are thrilled and shocked he lasted until 16".

Did you see Exum's highlights from Partizan this year? What the hell has happened with Dante? He's been unleashed... this is why I loved him... his speed is really showing up ... true against Euro competition but still.... and he seems more explosive than ever. And his shooting stats are eyebrow raising... (>50% FG%, >40% 3pFG, 85% FT%).... It's making me want to give him another shot...

Yeah, I've kept up with him. He is one of my favorite players of all time. I think I said this before, but a Euroleague team is probably the best spot for him. I don't think he can handle the NBA schedule even if he's an NBA talent. I would always give Exum another shot if he wants it though.

Besides the injury, I also think it helps that Exum knows he's one of the better players on the court. I love the guy, but I think it was clear that in the NBA he was always second guessing his place on the court and wasn't sure of himself. I don't think his mentality matched up with his talent.

For example, there are multiple guys we like at 9, we have explored trading up, trading down and staying put. Super generic and doesn’t really have any substance.

Could someone explain to me how Ausar is inferior to Amen in athleticism when they’re essentially twins?
Amen moves like he walks on clouds. Does things I have never seen before. Stuff you have to rewind the tape and watch on repeat just to understand what happened.

Ausar is more of a "regular" explosive athlete. Still extremely athletic, but not game breaking

I also think Bilal (whether he is drafted by us or is successful or not) will be the rare "this guy added 15 lbs of muscle AND grew 2" in the offseason guy". Normally its one or the other... he will get both and the report will happen multiple times over his rookie deal.

I guess I was speaking for the guys who post a lot. We do make fun of his super generic posts and articles.
No, there are regulars on here who repeatedly act like he is just a organizational mouthpiece or think he is too rude on Twitter. I call them out constantly

Or the Jazz will take the bpa when they are on the clock... to be fair some fans need to be told this but not super insightful.
