I think Miami was shopping Herro for picks. The problem with this is the Heat don’t have 3 firsts available to trade. They can trade two and three pick swaps.

Yeah, sounds like what Hollinger predicted. He got the number exactly right - 55M so I would guess the year by year numbers are correct too:

So is Clarkson tradable immediately
Seems to be some uncertainty
We should have the MLE, but I am not sure we will use it... Maybe if we make some sort of trade?
We’d have the room exception of 7.7M. We can have up to 20 players under contract… roster doesn’t have to go to 15 until season starts. Could waive Carey or Luka too. We don’t need to yet.Think so. We're at 15, so would need to consolidate else waiving someone.
Think people are focusing too much on the roster spots. Simone/Luka could be gone at a moments notice if we want to use our room exception. It costs Ryan real money out of his pocket so I wouldn’t expect it, but the best use of the room exception would be to get some kind of non-guaranteed/future team option deal….even if it’s an overpay year 1.
Not even Simone, Carey or Samanic have non-guaranteed contracts. Doesn’t cost Ryan any money.
It costs actual money to pay someone the room exception is what I mean.
Got ya, is there anyone out there’s we’d want to sign at the moment?
Does Oubre want to get on a roster where he isn't a starter though?I think if you can nab someone for the room exception that projects to be a good value on a 1+1 contract… if not I think we do end up making a trade. You’d want to finalize the JC extension first just in case you took a bit more salary in.
Not looking at a list I think Oubre might be the best candidate for something like that.
