2023 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread

Edwards is like a bigger version of Spida. Offensively? He can score against anyone with his unreal physical gifts and shot. But he doesn’t play defense, distribute the ball, lead, or actually do anything to help your team win.

I feel like these scoring records being set now should come with a * by them. It’s not the same sport that it was just 10 years ago let alone 20. Ant is one of the youngest players with the most 30+ pt playoff games. I feel like Kobe could’ve done that had rules been the way they are today and if Phil played this “analytics” game of chucking up as many crappy contested 3s as possible.

Gobert a non-factor defensively against Jokic.. the guy he should be effective against. Feel so bad for Minny fans...
It’s been truly amazing how the “Joker Stopper” was completely torn apart this series. Gobert to me looks like he’s lost some athleticism. I think a member here said that he’s struggling with a back injury. Maybe that’s it? He just doesn’t seem to have the same jumping ability/ability to contest as he used to. Major bummer for twolve fans. They should’ve just rolled with Kessler. Honestly, he might be better than Gobert is already.

This was a winnable game for Minny.. amazing how they've let it slip away .. just so casual defensively and aimless offensively.. smh..

Gobert getting wrecked by Jokic.
Mitchell getting daddied by Brunson.

The more things change, the more they don't.
