FVV is small... but FVV is a really good defender.

George can develop while FVV is here. We are on Lauri's timeline... I ain't banking on George being amazing year 1 or 2. I think we can do something in the 3/90-100M range on FVV that lines contracts up really well (including Collins) to retain Kessler and the rookies (with Lauri obviously).

He may prefer or get more from Houston or Toronto... but I'm in on some kind of offer for FVV.

Would also be in on Murray instead if we can swing it but not sure Atlanta does that one until the trade deadline.

It makes sense if you believe he makes us a championship contender, which he might. You go all in and try to win it over the next couple of years. But I'm with you. I'd rather not go down that route.
 
My official position on Sexton is that I would like to keep him, but I don't want him and Clarkson both on the team.

But I also want to re-sign Clarkson because I think he's going to get squeezed in this market and Id like to keep as many high value contracts/players as possible.

So hopefully a good materializes for either one.
