2024-25 Trade Rumors Thread

Who would you like to see traded?

For me I want to keep sexton and Kessler.
Trade Collins and Clarkson.
I might be willing to trade keyonte if we got a good first but I don't think we can so I would keep him
If we’re trying to see this tank through and pull off another one next year we’re going to need to offload all of our quality vets by next trade deadline. To get optimal value on our ‘26 graduating class, they need to be traded by this deadline but I understand that probably won’t happen.

Additionally, if we’re really trying to tank for 3 years or whatever, even keeping Kessler isn’t a lock. Seems to me Locke is signaling something when he hammers that point but maybe not.

I love where your head’s at

Getting the Bulls to want to trade with you is an insane cheat code. They operating on a different planet when it comes to what they want in trades.

Now that the Lakers have Luka on their roster going forward, asking them to remove the top-4 protection on their '27 FRP might be meaningless. The Lakers don't have much they can offer the Jazz in a trade proposal for Walker Kessler.

I mean, it's never truly meaningless, but yeah. I'm not giving them Kessler. Having his contract would be a cheat code for them signing big time free agents because of his small cap hold when he hits RFA.

Are people here just embracing the idea of the eternal tank? Draft, develop and trade 2-3 years later? Agbaji and Fontecchio last year, Kessler - this year, Hendricks and Keyonte - next season... What is the end goal of that?

Sounds like Lebron is staying in LA. Great news for the Jazz. LA will not be able to get any assets off of Bron, delaying their future retool around Luka.
