Huerter was going to be in that Collins deal. I wouldn't be surprised if DA goes "the one that got away" and gets the guy we thought we were going to get for free. I think Huerter is fine, but we really don't have a purpose for players of his caliber on this roster unless we want to move forward this next year.

Man, I was terrified that they'd get another first as their draft competition, just because OKC. But thank goodness, it was the worse of two 2031 2nd-round picks the Pelicans held.
But I thought there was no market????

I honestly think these guys have played their way into NOT being traded. I think the team has decided the tank ends this year. I like our guys so I am not sad.

I would be fine with this, but I still think there's a good chance we tank hard again next season in order to keep our pick.
