2024 annual Jazzfanz All time jazz draft

Also regarding the sims, my understanding from a little research online is that certain players (Barkley is one of them) aren’t on nba2k and so there is no rating for them. So how would that work?

I would say to not worry about it since the sim is secondary, but my guess is they would use a similar player or build one.

Well damn. That is a big issue for me.

I believe you can download user created versions.

Also, what is the plan for voting? I ask because I feel like people basically looked at nba2k ratings and were filling their team with the highest rated guys there and if it comes down to a sim, those team (Id think) would simply win.

This doesn’t take fit, chemistry, flaws, etc into play. No human element at all. I feel like it should be human boring but if the voting is +/-2 votes, it should go to SIM. Idk. Just my two cents.
Never looked at nba2k ratings to be honest.

We are in the most interesting part of the draft now.
Runner up DPOY in 08-09. People forget how good Josh Smith was on defense. He couldn't shoot, but he averaged almost 3 blocks per game in a season. His man defense was basically elite as he could lockdown and guard all 5 positions due to his lateral movement.

This pick was a Sim pick. Ive pretty much made up my mind that I'm not going to win on votes so I'm going for winning the most Sim games. Josh Smith has elite defensive attributes hence why I went with the pick.

If we go with 12 players (which I need to add 12 to every roster to do the Sim) it can add more versatility.

@Thee Idiotic Minivan K I'm calling for the first time ever we go with a full 12 man roster to experiment. Go full GM mode with our teams. I'm going to give the people the best "bang for your buck" experience with these rosters.
