Honestly, all the negativity and sniping at @Thee Idiotic Minivan K has really soured me on this whole thing. I checked out even before the voting started, and I don't know that I'll want to participate again next year. Too much pettiness.

I only felt negativity from the midnight

Felt like most everyone came to bat for me, and really I’m not all that bothered by the midnight. It’s his evil genius ways.

@Thee Idiotic Minivan K did a job.

But to be able to run this thing properly you need more than that.

By my count, he had:

- refused to listen to anyone’s suggestions on anything (it’s his way or the highway) i.e., he completely ignored the playoff format @SoberasHotRod suggested

- refused to make the draft ordering transparent, i.e., let a non participant do the draw or video tape it like @Keefe used to do

- messed up the voting format, i.e, someone had to step in and do the formatting for him

- refused to let Eliza run the tourney because - by his words - “I’m too proud to give it up”.

Thee is a good dude i’m not doubting that.

But there comes a point where you either have to do a better job, or change your way of doing things or if you dont want to do neither then just step aside and let someone else do it.

At the end of the day all i want is transparency and fairness not just for me but for everyone involved.

I worked tirelessly on this texting tagging and not once did anyone request for me to update picks. I ran the draft the way I felt comfortable doing it. Were there mistakes, yes, but I’m human and imperfect. This isn’t a life or death competition it’s a way to have fun and make the off-season less tedious. @The Midnight you need to learn to relax and enjoy yourself. There’s more important things to life than just a bunch of people having fun, you act like this is life or death.

As for formatting I’m not the most organized person in the world. If that bugs you then do what another poster did and help out.

I forget who helped me with the formatting and I apologize for that, but I was grateful for it so thank you.

As for @Elizah Huge at the time I thought he was trying to take the draft away from me when he posted something like if I do the draft would Log join. Whether it was an insult or not, I took it that way if it wasn’t I apologize. Had Elizah pm’ed me asking to do it I would’ve happily let him. I may have misread that situation if I did I’m sorry.

Personally I hate the whole voting part of this activity, and feel we need to find another way, maybe @Tony Jones and some of his reporter buddies would enjoy critiquing the teams next year I don’t know.

@gandalfe ive always enjoyed you’re involvement in this exercise. Sorry you didn’t enjoy it this year and I understand, but hope you’ll rethink your position for next year cause I enjoy you in this competition and have enjoyed your teams over the years.

By the way, third round matches will go up sometime today, if anyone wants to do a write up, I will give you a few hours, but expect the matchups to be up today
