I agree that Carter is probably a bit underrated. Maybe he goes at the tail end of the lottery or just outside it.

I'd add Da Silva, Kolek, Tyson as well.

It's hard not to look ahead to the '25 draft. Dylan Harper is probably a better PG prospect than anyone in this class. Flagg and Bailey are better than any wing prospects in this class. I think even Edgecombe would be a #1 or #2 guy in this class. Then there's several other guys, like Tre Johnson and Nolan Traore who are high-level prospects as well.

If we're being honest, tanking next season is a low-hanging-fruit opportunity to acquire All Star-level prospects on rookie deals. That's going to be hard to pass up.

And a handful of those guys everyone thinks is a top pick in this class from next class will absolutely suck and disappoint next year like always.

I think it depends on the situation he's drafted into. He'll play on the ball more than a guy like, say, Malik Monk. However, he may be given that type of 6th man role depending on where he lands. If it turns out he can cut it as a star, then great.

These are edited highlight clips from his senior year, yes, but you can see Sheppard is being used primarily as an off-ball shooter or cutter. In any case, there's nothing here to suggest he's a primary distributor, let alone someone like Steve Nash. The clips with the most on-ball reps are in the 3rd video.
