Could Reed Sheppard be modern Steve Nash? If so, that would be a great pickup.
He hasn't shown anywhere near that level of craft as a ball handler. Even in HS he played mostly off the ball and took the ball off of handoffs and swing passes.

Holmes, Jones, Edey, and Carter were all extremely productive and depending where drafted could be huge steals.
My bet is on Carter as the steal of the draft. I think he has a defined role in the NBA that should translate. He's going to be an absolute pest on defense and was one of the best offensive players in the NCAA this year. His shooting percentages are decent, but look even better when you watch film and see the level of difficulty on some of his shots.

I'd add Da Silva, Kolek, Tyson as well.Holmes, Jones, Edey, and Carter were all extremely productive and depending where drafted could be huge steals.

And a handful of those guys everyone thinks is a top pick in this class from next class will absolutely suck and disappoint next year like always. It's hard not to look ahead to the '25 draft. Dylan Harper is probably a better PG prospect than anyone in this class. Flagg and Bailey are better than any wing prospects in this class. I think even Edgecombe would be a #1 or #2 guy in this class. Then there's several other guys, like Tre Johnson and Nolan Traore who are high-level prospects as well.
If we're being honest, tanking next season is a low-hanging-fruit opportunity to acquire All Star-level prospects on rookie deals. That's going to be hard to pass up.
Someone is drafting Dillingham in the top 10 to be a star, not a 6th man.I think both McCain and Dillingham could find themselves in 6th man roles depending on what team they land on. I think Sheppard's defense makes him at least a starter.

So you saw some highlights and extrapolated that to his entire HS/AAU career?Youtube.com (you're welcome)

Just trying to genuinely find out how much PG experience he has from people who are actually knowledgeable and not just guessing.
