He was well below league average this season. His career percentage is below league average. He's had one season in 4 years where he's been above league average. He shoots a low volume and only takes high quality 3's. Don't play the "intellectual honesty" card when it's a fact that he is below average.

Let's see where Kyshawn George gets drafted and who has the terrible take. Sarah Todd named Reed Sheppard and Kyshawn George as two players the Jazz like in the 1st round. Jazz like players with length, shooting and creation. George checks those boxes, if not much else.

Dadiet is a 3pt shooter with length, average athleticism and some ability to attack close-outs. George has real playmaking. He can create for himself and others at 6'8", as well as being able to shoot out to 29 feet. Different player type.

KyShawn had a higher turnover percentage than assist percentage. Please stop doing this BS were you keep calling guys playmakers who arent playmakers. You parroted the same "Buzelis is a point forward" nonsense earlier in the thread. It's just not correct. KyShawn isnt creating jack **** at the NBA level because he cant get downhill and he can't handle at a NBA level.
And Dadiet was a 18 year who contributed at a pro level and has some of the best, if not the best, left-hand finishing in the class. KyShawn was having his minutes fluctuate on a terrible Miami team because he has terrible basketball IQ and effort. And as I just showed, Dadiet is more than just a 3pt shooter. He's the best OTD wing in the class.
A post-lottery Bulls selection from years ago that Ferg was convinced would be a great tall PG but I warned was awful. Turns out he is awful..
At #10 Reed would be a great choice if available (won't be) and at #29 George would be a great choice too (might be available).
Buzelis is a connector who can process and make reads. He's likely a secondary creator, rather than a 'point forward.' That's honestly his main appeal right now, given his other limitations.
Miami was a pretty flawed team with limited shooting and limited size inside. I wouldn't obsess about his A:TO ratio in that context. You can see some of George's playmaking reps starting at 7:17. I like Dadiet as a late-1st, or early 2nd-rd prospect, but you won't see him handling the ball and making these plays.

The film on Buzelis shows he can't make reads and is often blind to passes. He might want to be a passer, but he can't really dribble against pressure and because of that he cant keep his head up to find teammates.
I don't think Reed makes it to 10, and I don't think George makes it to 29. On Spence Checkets' show, Sarah Todd was asked to give a few names of guys the Jazz like for the #10 pick, and she mentioned Sheppard and George. Both of those make sense given their ability to shoot from deep and playmake.
