We’d be lucky if Knecht fell to us at 10
Yes, Knecht is much better. Not every 5th year senior becomes the best scorer in the SECComparing him to Sensabaugh is disrespect? Wonder what Sensabaugh looks like as a 5th year senior. . .
huh? i said he could score and you come and point out his team sucked. lol.How many games did they win? Don't be daft
Anyone can score in the GLeague if you give them the ballhuh? i said he could score and you come and point out his team sucked. lol.
TS% is the best stat we have to measure scoring efficiency. and it isn't just the best, it is excellent.BTW, a lot of people say Holland was "efficient" and cite his TS. Just remember that TS% is bunk and inflated for all G-League stats. Do not use it. I don't think we should look too much into the G-League stats anyways because they were completely over matched. But just for fun, here are some G-League players last season:
Player A (per36)
PTS - 22.0
REB - 7.5
AST - 3.5
STL - 2.7
BLK - 1.0
TOV - 3.6
EFG% - 48.0%
FT% 72.8%
FTA - 4.4
3FG% - 23.7%
3FGA - 0.9 / 3.8
Player B (per36)
PTS - 20.3
REB - 7.4
AST - 1.8
STL - 0.9
BLK - 1.3
TOV - 2.7
EFG% - 50.3%
FT% 83.1%
FTA - 2.7
3FG% - 31.1%
3FGA - 2.3 / 7.3
Player C (per36)
PTS - 16.4
REB - 7.7
AST - 2.2
STL - 1.1
BLK - 2.2
TOV - 2.4
EFG% - 49.0%
FT% 72.8%
FTA - 24
3FG% - 26.1%
3FGA - 1.0 / 3.9

kay yes, that makes sense. still, careful using per 36 for guys who didn't play at least a somewhat similar number of minutes - no idea if that is the case here or not.The calculation is wrong for the G-League. They have different FT rules and it messes with the formula. Nothing wrong with TS% itself, the problem is that it is wrong for the G-League.
not sure what you're trying to prove, but laughable that you are using per 36 (which can be completely skewed if guy's minutes were low) and you are using eFG% - a stat that ignores a player's ability to get to the FT line and make FTs.
fair enough - who are the players?I am using eFG% because TS% is calculated incorrectly. I added FTA's and FT% so you can also add that to your efficiency calculation. Obviously the guy who shoots more FT's is going to have a higher overall efficiency gain from that. These players all played big minutes: 31.9, 35.4, 32.0.
