What's new

2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

I think Salaun's physical tools show up on film too. He looks huge out there.

He looks big, but he's not nearly as smooth or agile. Also can't finish around the basket. Coulibaly was moving around screens like a cat and was way better around the rim due to his superior explosiveness/body control.

Different kind of players as well. Coulibaly is a much more natural ball handler/feel guy. He was a PG his entire life and was still being used as the backup PG from time to time. Don't think Salaun shows the same on ball flashes.

They shoot 1 FT instead of 2 or 3 (it counts for 2 or 3), except in the last 2 minutes I believe. It throws off the calculation because it's the same amount of points but less attempts.
that's why the nba/gleague has their own calculation to account for that.

ESPN is claiming that they did another update to their mock in the past hour, with a new pick for the Jazz at 10. Someone want to check?

It is updated, still Dillingham with this updated note:

At this juncture, Dillingham's landing spots seem to be firming up in the 5-10 range, with Detroit, San Antonio and Utah viewed as suitors. The Pistons have come up more frequently as a team with real interest in Dillingham, whether that's at No. 5, or if Detroit decides to move back.

If DET want's Rob, trading back makes a ton of sense.
