Was looking at my final big board for this draft and though I was high on McCain/Knecht, I still only had them 9th and 12th respectively. I remember being out on Cody Williams for most of the process, but I let @Ferguson_Mellochill constant tongue washing of Cody convince me and I put him 8th.

At least I can take solace in knowing I had McCain/Knecht above their draft positions.

I was extremely consistent on my criticism of Cody (I didnt just saying "everything at some point"). Like I said, I kept him high because of the length factor, but I messed up putting him too high because I was influenced by how much Ferg glazed him.

You would have taken Cody on draft night. Don’t blame @Ferguson_Mellochill . Own it. It’s just tough to take anyone serious that wants to come in thumping their chest when the “facts” are they’d have made the same mistake others did. Really doesn’t matter who said what.

I can thump my chest because I had them higher than consensus. I wasnt thumping I had them over Cody, I clearly pointed out I did not.

Cant bat 100%. Still better at this than most people IMO.

JHS has also had a ton of injuries, including back surgery. I would love to pick him up on a 2nd contract try.

Just funny how HH wants to discredit me having McCain/Knecht higher than consensus and higher than their draft position, but w/e.

i don't remember exactly, but my recollection is that i didn't like mccain much - which dumb, because i loved him as a prospect coming out of HS. if so, he's definitely my biggest miss this year. Sheppard also has a chance to make me look dumb - which is also strange because he was my favorite player all season last year - i called him the guard version of jokic - i don't know exactly why he's amazing, he just is and the team is always better when he's out there. then i let one game (the NCAA tournament game they lost against Oakland) change my opinion of who he could be in the NBA. jury is still out, just having a hard time getting minutes right now.

Im sure Reed will come around. There's some concerning things with him though. Still dont think he's had a single FT all season.
