Ain't trying to discredit you. Just think its a fallacy to look at someone's entire draft board and be like "look how smart I am". You could have been the GM... had a great draft board... and still you would have made the same "mistake" the Jazz did cuz you had Williams higher. You only get one pick as a GM. Even if you made the mistake better because your board was more correct, you still muffed the pick... potentially.

I think you actually watch more than most and I do trust your eye. Everyone has hits and misses. And I know the thumping of the chest is just for funsies... me talking **** is also just for funsies.

Here you go - are you ready? I like and respect your draft positions! You are likely better at this than I am!

I don't think its a failed pick at all. I think if we were re-drafting and making bets today I think several guys would slide obvi... I don't know that Cody would end up much further from where he was drafted though. We are like 15 games in. Its nice when guys pop off early but doesn't mean they suck if they don't. I'm going to try and be very patient with these guys.

FWIW I would have taken Devin Carter, not Cody, as he was the highest available player on my board when the Jazz drafted.

Same. I understood they went the way they did.
 
I can't remember for sure, but I think I would have taken Buzelis over Cody...It was close though, Ferg's propaganda also got to me but that was my own mistake lol. Buzelis has also been struggling a lot to score...but I think he's shown a lot more activity/is a much better athlete. Too early to tell if that would have been a better decision. It will be fun to look at Holland/Salaun/Cody/Buzelis.

Admittedly, neither Knecht or McCain was on my radar at #9. Didn't too much looking into McCain at all because he was always seen as between our picks.
 
I liked Carter better than Williams but also like Williams. I only liked Carter better because I liked his highlights. I wanted Castle most but knew he wouldn't be there.
