2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Cody is 15 lbs away from being 15 lbs away. Seriously, take any wing with his dimensions that was 15 lbs heavier than him….those are the skinny guys that who need to gain weight. Hendricks was 25 lbs heavier than Cody, and he was a guy that still needed to put on weight.

Regardless of his weight, he also needs to work on his horrible jumper, handle, and simply playing harder.
I think he plays hard, but he needs to play more assertive and decisive.

He's ok when defending on the ball, but he just doesn't have that knack for being active otherwise. I think he's pretty much a complete zero unless he's directly guarding the guy with the ball. Being more active is probably a better description than simply playing harder. Complete opposite of a player who has his fingerprints on the game and this is true for both sides of the ball.

zero assessment about Cody until early 27 I still believe
we used to say the same thing about exum at this stage. yet three years later, he still sucked - and what's crazy is he was better than Cody at the same stage. i guess if we're happy waiting 10 years for him to become a solid role player for another team, maybe we can have some optimism regarding his career.
