Knecht is going to go well before the 15th pick.Knecht is a perfect buy for a later pick. Something Miami would do.

Same as Derrick WhiteThing that eases some of my fears with Knecht’s age is that he was a late bloomer physically. I believe he had a big growth spurt in college which is some of why he wasnt a one and done
Also, @SoberasHotRod feel free to mute me if you want because you seem to want to argue or disagree with almost everything I post.
Yeah I would say his range probably starts with MemphisKnecht is going to go well before the 15th pick.

I loved his highlight tapes and numbers but was a little thrown by his off the dribble shooting. I wouldn't mind him at #8 at all. I did lower him a bit based on those numbers... if that did come around I could see him being a 20 ppg on good efficiency secondary/tertiary type guy.Yeah, I would agree with this. I think he has a decent chance of being an exception. He put up great numbers last year, but was just at a small school so nobody cared. He followed that up by putting up even better numbers in the SEC. He's definitely a good prospect.
I would have no problem with him at 8. To be honest the only player that is projected in most top 10's that I would be disappointed in is Clingan. If we want to go with a big then I would prefer Edey over him. Let Edey focus mostly on defense like Clingan and he probably has a similar impact while still being so much better offensively.I loved his highlight tapes and numbers but was a little thrown by his off the dribble shooting. If dude just had an 8 inch growth spurt, he needs to call a doctor. We've all seen the commercials.I don't mean this in a bad way....but it's hard to overstate just how goofy Cody looks on the court. He's soooo long and skinny. If you told me he just had an 8 inch growth spurt and is still figuring out his body I would believe you. On one hand he looks slow and not explosive, on the other hand he can stay with guys on the perimeter because of his length, he can get to the hoop in very little steps, and he can finish without having to jump high. I think an optimist would see this as an easy area for improvement as he matures.
YesSo you are okay with fact he was so much older than his competitors
