2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Castle may be trying to avoid Detroit and Charlotte. If he can play PG, then he becomes more interesting, but the tape I saw made him look slow, limited in his ability to get to the rim, and limited in shooting off the dribble. Also, making demands to play a certain position might rub some teams the wrong way.
Demands? “They are more like guidelines.”

I still think Castle and George would make a potent back court pairing. I feel that in order to get Castle the Jazz are going to need to trade up. I am not sure the cost would warrant it , however.

I think this is best case scenario for the Jazz unless we can also trade other assets to get into position to draft Devin Carter.

My quibble would be why would Detroit draft another player who cannot shoot other than they are basketball dumb?

Also the Sheppard to Houston feels not quite right. I don’t know what is right. Maybe someone else will trade up to 3.
People think Buzelis is a shooter who had a bad year

Wonder if Carrington will move up like JHS last year. A little bit smaller, but younger and also didn’t suck like JHS did. Not as cool of a name either.

There are people who insist that Clingan is going to go higher than this. I'm not one of them necessarily, but Givony seems to think Clingan is in play at 2, 3 and 6.
He’s one of the hardest to peg a spot on. Does Charlotte draft him with having Mark Williams? Does Houston like the fit with Sengun? I could see Washington drafting him though. 9 is his absolute floor I think though.

ATL is probably going to shop this #1 pick pretty hard. Neither Sarr nor Risacher is going to transform their franchise.
