Players who tore their ACLs before the draft: Nerlens Noel, OG Anunoby, Chuma Okeke. It cost them 5 - 10 draft slots. Generally, they recovered okay, but Noel was never as explosive. I know players recover well these days, but they do tend to lose a half step.

Do you mean it feels like ACL, but is in fact tendinitis, or that tendinitis is the cause of the partially torn ACL?

I can guarantee it won't go like that and I probably wouldn't draft McCain if I were the Jazz

I think Mcullar has dropped too far. He used to be low 20 on boards and now he's getting mocked in the mid second round. I don't think his injury is too serious, so I don't quite get it except recency bias. He's got an all around game and should be able to contribute in the NBA.
