2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

It's a bit interesting to me that the Thompson twins got something of a pass for their lack of shooting last year and Holland doesn't, even in a weaker draft.
I've been trying to figure out if Holland is as good of an athlete as the Thomson twins. All three are great athletes, but I think Amen is definitely the best of them. Is Ausar better than Holland? Maybe?

Ahh, I see what you mean. I’m really not sure. On the surface I would guess maybe the bad form has more upside because you have an excuse on why it’s not going in more maybe?

In theory...but you could also say that if a guy has good form, it's more likely that his poor percentages are due to flukey SSS. I'm not sure what scenario plays out in reality more. Like maybe someone like Holland has a more identifiable path to improvement...but someone like Castle is more likely to already be better than his %s say.

Giving has Utah as a team interested in trading up for Clingan and drafting Edey at 10.

But remember how much some posters like Sip go on and on about how much the FO loves Kessler?
Like I said before. The front office and Hardy didn't see eye to eye on Kessler. If Hardy isn't a fan then it makes sense to move him. Also who knows if there is any truth to any of these rumors. The jazz front office is notoriously tight lipped so I'm taking any rumor with a grain of salt. There is zero benefit in letting other teams know who you may be targeting.

If Topic didn't have a giraff neck we would probably have measure 6'3" or 6'4" and then his wingspan is average. I am not worried.

Hollins is a tier below the Thompson twins athletically.

I know https://www.nbadraft.net/nba-mock-drafts/?year-mock=2024 doesn't have the best reputation around here, but it just updated today. #10 Tidjane Salaun, (with Carter, Ware, Clingan, Walter, and Topic available). #29 Trey Alexander and #32 Zach Edey (cannot see him falling this far). Some of the picks seem pretty bizarre to me, but it is a fun read.
