I agree but what do you do when he’s projected late teens twenties. Would be hard to trade back and then potentially have 4 picks. Very curious how this draft plays out bc there seems to be a lot of similar talent past the first 10-12 players

Jazz could package #29 and #32 and get up to #23 or #24. The Knicks are open to moving their picks. Or maybe there's a Clarkson deal in there somewhere.

Akron forward Enrique Freeman is making the rounds on the NBA Draft circuit, and apparently, very much on the rise.

I put Freeman at 27 on the board I made last week. It also has him working out for Utah!

I love Freeman. Great story and the kind of kid every coach wants on his team. I’d love for the Jazz to take him in that late 1st / early 2nd range.

Think young Nic Batum. Probably better at getting downhill though. Not the Jalen Johnson-with-a-jumpshot I was hoping for.

batum was never an elite athlete, though he was a good athlete, risacher is quite a bit worse in terms of athleticism, probably a better shooter.

I would be a buyer in the 35 to 40 range but that I expect to be available at 29 and 32 that I would prefer.

No Stephon Castle, Ron Holland or Rob Dillingham on this list. Guys like McCain, Knecht, Kolek, Scheierman, etc. would suggest that the Jazz still adhere to a high requirement for shooting. Edey and Ighodaro are the only true bigs.

I think we have to remember the jazz big board is usually much different than ours it seems.

Terrance Shannon Jr was cleared on all charges today for his case. I was waiting for trial to comment on his draft prospects.

He is very old, but has some intriguing attributes as a player. Really good at getting to the basket+finishing, improved 3FG shooter and good FT shooter, and has very good reviews on his defense.

Knecht vs TSJ is an interesting comparison. They are basically the same size, same age (TSJ older), and were similarly dominant at the college level. Knecht is probably better shooter, which is the most important skill, but on paper is only ahead by a little bit. TSJ seems to be as good or better in the other key areas.

It’s hard to know what TSJ’s draft stock is. How much did the ongoing case affect his stock? Will it still affect his stock? I’ve got no idea.
