2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

The Jazz have been tight-lipped and haven't been linked to anyone really. There's been a bit of chatter, including from David Locke, suggesting that the Jazz could trade up from #10 for someone if they're properly motivated.

Been linked to lots of players....just not the guys who are certain to go ahead of us. I don't believe in "tight lipped"....especially not from the Jazz whose draft plans were in the wide open last year. Info is out on the Jazz, there's just no indication we're moving into the top 5.

From talking to multiple guys who would know the Jazz liked Keyonte very early on in the cycle and Keyonte’s camp wasn’t very tight lipped about it.

Not sure about the interest in Bilal last year but that wasn’t very tight lipped either.

This draft is just so weak. It's finding a needle in a haystack kind of draft. You hope to get lucky finding a gem. But chances are, you're getting a bench warmer IMO.

Last year, there was more consensus about who was going where. Plus, the draft was stronger at the top, so teams were less inclined to trade picks. Everyone could spell out who the top 8 - 10 players were. This year, things seem to be more up in the air. So it's harder to pin a certain player to a certain team.

I'm drinking the koolaide on Carter....His film is great. But to be devil's advocate, are we concerned about drafting a 6'3, 22 year old SG? Carter is a dog....but I'm not sure he's like Smart/Holliday where he can guard bigger wings. There's a lot hinging on his shot....and I'm still not totally convinced by his one year of decent shooting.
Carter's wingspan is 6' 8" and he has an extremely high motor. I think he is Smart on defense, but with more offensive game.
