2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

I think Rob needs to reach Trae Young levels of offense to be Trae Young....but there is a lot of room between Trae Young and outside of the NBA. The idea that it's one or the other is just silly.
There's not when you are 6'1 165

There isn’t a lot of room between Trae Young and strictly being a bench player on a serious team.

Lakers are targeting Sexton. Remove the '27 protections (I equate that to the value of a FRP), this years Laker pick no.17, and give a good contract/player back then I would do it. Maybe give them the 32nd pick.
Lakers dont really have anyone I would be interested in outside of Jalen Hood Schifino (laugh away). I doubt they would give up Reaves. I also think they are a 2nd apron team so they cant even aggregate players meaning you would have to take back D'Lo or Rui and not be able to get JHS.

Let’s make it sweeter/weirder

Renegotiate ‘27 so it’s a *drum roll* SUPER SWAP (where the Lakers get the worst of the Jazz/Wolves/Cavs/Lakers pick [no protections]) and their ‘28 pick (+ #17 this year and hopefully any 2nds years down the road).
